West Ottawa Soccer had a great start to the OPDL season last weekend in Kingston, with the eight teams rounding out the weekend with a combined record of six wins, three losses, and one tie.
A notable mention goes to the 2001 Boys, who won both games of their doubleheader weekend against Markham and North Toronto, 3-1 and 2-0 respectively.
Seven of the eight teams will be back in action again this weekend and looking to build on the results of the opening week.
The U13 and U14 Boys and Girls teams will play their home openers this Saturday at Wesley Clover. The four games will kickoff between 11:15 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Ontario Player Development League is a youth high-performance league that combines top-level competition with high performance training. WOSC is one of 21 clubs in Ontario who are licensed to play in the OPDL, offering a program that provides youth players with quality coaching and instruction and supporting this program with a professional technical and operations staff.
