As Mandated by the OSA, if you are coaching a representative team, and do not already have your Senior Level Coaching Certification (from the old OSA system) then you will need to take the appropriate LTPD Coaching Clinic AND also take the Making Ethical Decisions (MED) course.

 West Ottawa Soccer Club – LTPD Coaching Clinics

Thank you for your interest in coaching with WOS for the upcoming 2012 outdoor season. If you coach for WOS the club will pay for the clinics listed below so please take advantage of this opportunity to learn some new skills or just enhance the ones you already have! The children will thank you!

If you have not signed up to coach a team please consider doing so when you register your child for soccer.

The West Ottawa Soccer Club has arranged the following upcoming coaching certification courses. It is important that all coaches understand player development needs. Each course is designed with various stages of development in mind. The description for the courses is provided by the Ontario Soccer Association 
 

The minimum age requirement to attend these clinics is 16 years of age at the time of the clinic.
Active Start April 29, 2012 Stittsville Community Center – $40
Active Start May 5, 2012 Richmond Community Center – $40
FUNdamentals April 14, 2012 Stittsville Community Center – $115
FUNdamentals April 15, 2012 Stittsville Community Center – $115
Learn to Train May 5/6, 2012 Stittsville Community Center – $170
Soccer for Life May 12/13, 2012 Stittsville Community Center - $190
Making Ethical Decisions April 29, 2012, 700 Longfields Drive, Barrhaven - Free to WOS coaches - register with Debbie Wright.

RESPECT IN SOCCER - is a MANDATORY clinic for REPRESENTATIVE coaches and assistant coaches no matter what level team you are coaching.  WOS has purchased licenses for representative coaches and assistant coaches to complete this online course.  Please email Debbie Wright if you require the procedure to access this course.

All coaches must pay at the time of registration. West Ottawa Soccer Club coaches will be reimbursed upon successful completion of the course.
